Ein Beitrag zur Chemie des 1-ha-adamantans Aus dem Institut fur Organische Chemie der Technischen Hochschule Aachen (Eingegangen am 13. April 1972) Die =.a'-Anellierung von P.P'-Dibrom-isobuttersiiure-athylester an die Pyrrolidin-Enamine von l-Benzyloxycarbonyl-piperidon-(4) (2a) und I-Benzoyl-piperidon-(4) (2 b) liefert die entsprechenden N-substituierten 9-0xo-7-Bthoxycarbonyl-3-aza-bicyclo[3.3.l]nonane (3a und 3c). Aus 3a wurde das 2-Hydroxy-6-oxo-l-aza-adamantan-~thylenacetal(4a), aus 3c das 2-Hydroxy-1 -aza-adarnantan (4 b) sowie das bekannte 1-ha-adamantan (5) erhalten. Die Bildung der beiden Halbaminale 4a und 4b sowie des 1-Aza-adamantans (5) mu13 iiber die nicht isolierbare Lactamzwischenstufe 6a bzw. 6b erfolgt sein.

A Contribution to the Chemistry of 1-Azaadamantane a.a'-Anellation of ethyl P$'-dibromoisobutyrate to the pyrrolidine enamine derivatives of I -(benzyloxycarbonyl)-4-piperidone (2a) and 1-benzoyl-4-piperidone (2b) affords the corresponding N-substituted 9-oxo-7-ethoxycarbonyl-3-azabicyclo[3.3.1]nonanes (3a and 3c). Starting from 3a, 2-hydroxy-6-0x0-1-azaadamantane ethyleneacetal (4a) was obtained, whereas 3c led to 2-hydroxy-1 -azaadamantane (4b) and to the known I-azaadamantane (5). Formation of the two hemiaminals 4a and 4b as well as of 1-azaadamantane (5) must have proceeded via non-isolable lactam intermediates (6a and 6b, respectively).
