✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Proton magnetic resonance spectra of 9‐acetonylxanthopterine (I) and erythropterine (II) are reported. Based upon these data and UV.‐spectroscopic evidence, it is shown that these compounds exist in the tautomeric forms Ib and IIb, respectively.
