✦ Synopsis

Vor einiger Zeit') haben wir das D i a c e t a t d e s diniolekularen Gly c e r i n a l d e h y d s beschrieben und iibereinstimmend rnit den Anschauungen von Max B e r g m a n n nach I formuliert. Behandelt man dieses Acetat mit Eisessig-B romw a s s e r s t of f bei Zimmer-Temperatur, so la& sich eine Acetylgruppe durch Brom ersetzen, und man erhalt einen Monoacetylb r o m -g l y c e r i n a l d e h y d (11). Der Bromkorper lafit sich in wasser-haltigem Aceton rnit Silbercarbonat zum Mono a c e t y l -gly c e r i n a l d e h y d und mit Methylalkohol und Ag2C0, zum M e t h y l -c y c l o a c e t a l d e s Monoacetylg l y ce ri n a l d e h y d s umsetzen. Durch Verseifen mit methylalkoholischem Ammoniak erhalt man aus dem letzteren das M e t h y l -c y c l o a c e t a l d e s G 1 y c e r i n a 1 d e h y d s (111).
