## Abstract When N,N‐dialkylamide dimethylsulfate adducts are reacted with cyanoacetyl urea or carbethoxy acetyl urea, the corresponding dialkylamino alkylidene derivatives are formed which cyclize to substituted uracils in the presence of a strong base. When the adducts of cyclic amides are used,
