Abstract
A very simple, accurate and quick assay method for Vitamin D~2~ is described. The method is based on descending paper chromatography with petroleum ether saturated with water as mobile phase. The method benefits from the fact that the flow distance of the Vitamin D~2~‐spots is very much dependent on the quantity of Vitamin D~2~ placed on the chromatogram.
