Die Diinnshicht-Chromatographie hes timmter Extrakte genuiner Wachse erinoglicht eine eindeutige und reproduzierbare Identifizierung der Wachse. Hierbei werden die Extrakte auf Kieselgel HF-Platten mit Benzol als mobiler Phase in qualitativ nicht naher untersuhte Einzelkomponenten getrennt, die sich bei Betrachtung im UV-Licht aIs farbig fluoreszierende Flecke visualisieren lassen und deren Anzahl, RF-Werte sowie Fluoreszenzfarhen jeweils charakteristisch fur ein genuines Naturwachs sind.
Identification of Genuine Natural Waxes by Thin-Layer Chroma tography
Genuine waxes can be identified distinctly in a reproducible manner by examining certain extracts of these waxes by thinlayer chromatography. Using benzene as mobile phase, the extracts are resolved on Silicagel HF plates into individual components that were not investigated further. Under UV light these components are visible as coloured fluorescent spots, whose number, RF-values and fluorescent colours are characteristic for the genuine natural waxes.
