Abstract
Durch Einwirkung von p‐Nitroso‐dimethyl‐ oder ‐diäthyl‐anilin und Natriumcyanid auf die Phthalimidoacalkyl‐pyridiniumbromide entstehen die entsprechenden α‐(p‐Dimethyl‐ bzw. ‐Diäthyl‐aminophenylimino)‐β‐keto‐phthalimido‐alkancarbonsäurenitrile. Durch Spaltung dieser Nitrile mit verdünnter Chlorwasserstoffsäure gelangt man glatt zu den α‐Keto‐phthalimido‐alkancarbonsäuren.
