Abstract

Aus Plumiera acutifolia wurde ein neues, als Fulvoplumierin bezeichnetes Pigment isoliert, das in vitro das Wachstum von Mycobacterium tuberculosis hemmt. Fulvoplumierin besitzt die Summenformel C~14~H~12~O~4~ und enthält einen γ, δ‐ungesättigten, sechsgliedrigen Lactonring mit einer zum Lactonsauerstoff β‐ständiger Carbomethoxy‐Gruppe. Der Stoff ist verschieden von Plumericin^1^) aus Plumiera multiflora.
