✦ Synopsis

Abstract

α‐ und β‐Betulenol, aus dem Blattknospenöl von Betula lenta L., konnten durch Reduktion zum α‐ und β‐Tetrahydrobetulenol und zum Caryophyllan (Tetrahydrocaryophyllen), durch weitere Umsetzungen und durch IR‐Spektren als isomere primäre Caryophyllenole aufgeklärt werden. β‐Betulenol wurde im Öl von Mentha piperita nachgewiesen und durch Oxydation von Caryophyllen mit Sauerstoff bzw. mit Wasserstoffperoxyd dargestellt.
