## Abstract Es wird über Versuche berichtet, __p__‐Hydroxy‐benzoesäure mit Formaldehyd zu kondensieren, und die Darstellung einer Phenolcarbonsäure aus dem entsprechenden Alkylphenol durch Oxydation mit Kaliumpermanganat beschrieben.
