Correlations between mass spectra and molecular structure are attempted in a series of cis and trans 1,2-diaIkylcyclohexanes previously investigated. Rather large differences appear between abundances of main fragment ions, especially (P-R1)+ (parent ion having lost the Rl group) and (P-Rl-H)+, some of which can be related to the different stability of the two kinds of stereoisomers. Metastable transitions indicate that an important fragmentation process is given by a sequence of the type P' + (P-R1)+ + (P-RI-R~)~.

La formule de ces cornposks est R ? / \ / CHz-CH CH-RI / . CHz CH2-CH2 ou R2 represente un des groupes CH3, C2H5, n-C3H7, i-C3H7, n-CdH9 ou i-C4H9, et R1 le groupe CHz-CHz CHZ-CHZ \ / CH-CHZ-.
