Abstract
Poly(1‐[4‐(4‐alkoxyphenoxycarbonyl)phenoxycarbonyl]‐1‐methylethylene) (1) which exhibits liquid crystalline structures was investigated by X‐ray diffraction. It was found that an increase of the intensity of the low‐angle maxima with increasing temperature is caused by a variation of the dimensions of the liquid crystal regions and their concentration.
