The interaction of 2-methyl-2-oxazoline with muconic acid and glutaraldehyde has been investigated. From GPC, spectral and elementary analysis data it was evidenced that in both cases, for an equimolar feed ratio of the comonomers, zwitterionic alternating ring opening-closing copolymerizations may
