## Abstract Durch Umwandlung der Carboxylgruppe der Sumaresinolsäure in eine Methylgruppe ließ sich das bisher unbekannte Triterpendiol Δ^12^,^13^‐2, 7‐Dioxy‐oleanen herstellen.
