✦ Synopsis

On the basis of the magnetic circular dichroism spectra of the transitions 3H, + 'DZ and 3H, + 'P,, respectively, of Cp,Pr adducts the main contributions of I+ J, ) in the eigenvectors of both manifolds could be identified. Neglecting g, the remaining crystal field parameters B& B& S& Bz and Bz adopted negative, positive, positive, positive and negative values, respectively (within the framework of a first order crystal field calculation and assuming strict CBu symmetry of the effective crystal field).
