Summary. 33 fractures of the olecranon have been reviewed. It is evident, that with the biomechanically correct internal fixation of prestress type, adapted to the individual type of fracture not only anatomically, but also functionally very good results are obtainable. 0ur described prestress fixation of olecranon fractures, for the frst time published 1963, has stood the tests in our hands.
Résumé. Une série de 33 fractures de l'olécräne a été contrôlée. I1 est évident qu'une ostéosynthèse conforme aux règ]es de la bioméeanique dans le sens du hauban, adaptée au type de fracture particulière, offre des résultats parfaits en ce qui concerne l'anatomie et la fonction. Notre ostéosynthèse du hauban, publiée la première fois en 1963, a preuvé entretemps sa supériorité face & d'autres ostéosynthèses.
Zusammenfassung. 33 01ecranonfrakturen in geschlossener Serie werden einer Nachkontrolle und Beurteilung unterzogen. Es zeigt sich, daß mit einer biomeehanisch-logischen Zuggurtungs-Osteosynthese, die je nach Bruchform etwas verschieden ist, sowohl anatomisch als auch funktionell gute Ergebnisse zu erreichen sind.
Die von uns erstmals 1963 mitgeteilte Zuggurtungs-Osteosynthese der Olecranonfraktur hat sich in unseren Händen bewährt.
