Simple acoustic dispersion and attenuation relations which apply for all values of tot and which contain the zero-sound solution for tot>> 1 are obtained for liquid 3He. They are found to agree extremely well with published results on longitudinal zero sound. A unique feature of a zero-sound experiment is that it yields all the information necessary to obtain the nonmagnetic and non-heatconductive parameters of the normal 3He as T ~ O.
