β¦ Synopsis
The I,-Ar van der Waals complex has been studied using two-colour (2 + 1') zero kinetic energy pulsed field ionisation spectroscopy. The ['I13,Jc 7s; 1, and the [2rI,,2]c 7s; 0: Rydberg states were used as resonant intermediate states for ionisation into the R ZlXs,2.8 and 2 2II1,2S p s in-orbit ionic states, respectively. The adiabatic ionisation energies have been determined as 74523 f 2 cm-' for the L% *l-l 3,Z,gsfate and 79692 f 3 cm-' for the jt 2II,,26 state. Vibrational constants have been determined for the IZ...Ar van der Waals stretching mode as w,=62f2 cm-' and w&~= 1.2kO.l cm-' for the ii 211j,2,p state and w,=62f2 cm-' and 0$,=1.7?0.1 cm-' fortheR%,,,,

The naphthalene-Ar van der Waals complex formed in a supersonic jet expansion was studied. Mass-selected multiphoton ionization and zero kinetic energy (ZEKE) photoelectron spectra obtained in the two-color (1 + 1') ionization scheme are reported. The SI-S 0 %o transition in the complex is red-shift
We use high-resolution "zero kinetic energy photoelectron spectroscopy (ZEKE PES)" with two-colour two-photon resonant ionization for the investigation of the benzene-argon van der Waals complex in a supersonic skimmed jet. The ZEKE PE spectrum shows only a single peak of s 8 cm-' fwhm. We conclude
The vibrational spectrum of the phenol-H20 cation complex is obtamed by two-colour resonant pump-probe "zero kinetic energy (ZEKE)" spectroscopy. The ZEKE electron signal only appears when the total photon energy exactly matches a transition to a cluster ion state. The results are: an accurate value
