The crew of the Modulus Echo is stuck in service to Brigadier General Alicia Pershing in exchange for their freedom.  But while working for the Royal Imperium may have its perks, it is also extremely dangerous.  From space battles to rescue missions, Ben and his friends will have to use all their resourcefulness if they hope to survive.

There’s only one rule in space - keep flying!  The Krah have conquered their own galaxy, and now they have their sights set on ours.  With their prototype gravity shield, the Modulus Echo is on the front line of a new war that is just about to explode across the galaxy.  But there’s more at stake than life and death.  The queen of the Royal Imperium is desperate to stay in power, and the commanders of the massive battle cruisers guarding the restricted systems are in open rebellion.  Only time will tell if the shifting lines of loyalty and duty will point the Modulus Echo to freedom, or become a noose around their necks.

Zero Friction is the fifth book in the Kestrel Class Saga.  It’s an epic space opera in the vein of Ender’s Game, Firefly, and Battlestar Galactica.
