Absorption line profilez have been determined in laminar, premixed, shi~,~ed flames at atmospheric and at reduced pressure, by making use of a Zeeman scanning technique. The wavelength of a background lot, v-pressure discharge light source was changed by 4-0.1 A with a variable magnetic field. Line
