## Abstract Aus __Voacanga africana Stapf__ konnte ein neues Alkaloid, das Voacangarin, C~22~H~28~O~4~N~2~, isoliert werden. Es werden Abbaureaktionen beschrieben, welche beweisen, dass das Voacangarin ein Hydroxy‐carbomethyoxy‐ibogain ist, dem die Strukturformel I zukommt.
