The book contained a short story about Keyan Farlander's assignment in the Alliance to Restore the Republic. In some points the narration breaks when Keyan opens a Rebel pamphlet which contained "A Call to Reason", spec sheets for the various spacecraft in the game, a "who's who" for the races and characters of the galaxy and much more. When he finishes reading, the narrative continues to Farlander's first mission.
