Compounds of fourth-row nonmetals (As, Se, Br) generally resemble their homologs from the third row, whereas an increase in coordination number is often observed on going to the fifth row, e. g. SO:-, SeO:-, H,TeO$ Thus selenium oxide tetrafluoride, analogous to sulfur oxide tetrafluoride, should be capable of existence; tellurium, on the other hand, is found to give pentafluoroorthotelluric acid[".
