✦ Synopsis

The Europump Annual General Assembly was held in Antalya, Turkey, in May. There was the usual round of presentations for the members, and workshops and meetings for various committees. This year the theme was energy efficiency and the measures needed to rein in energy consumption and address the environmental impact of pumps and pump systems. Discussing Europump's vision and mission, Paolo Marinovich, president of Europump, said: "Europump shall be recognised as an international reference body for technical disciplines and a source of harmonised regulations for efficient and environment-friendly fluid pumping systems".
