CAD in industry
Televideo designed specifically for CADCAM applications. Targetted markets include printed circuit board layout, architectural design, and mechanical design.
The Telestar 386-19CD features an AutoCAD device driver and advanced high-resolution graphics card based on Hitachi's ACRTC graphics processor that provides 256 colours from a palette of 4096. The 19 in colour monitor has a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. The workstation is based on the Intel 80386 microprocessor, with an optional 80387 maths coprocessor. It includes 2 to 4 Mbyte of random access memory, hard disc of 71 Mbyte, 1.2 Mbyte floppy disc drive, eight expansion slots, and combined floppy, fixed disc, and hard disc tape controllers.
According to Televideo, the workstation will run leading DOS CAD packages, including AutoCAD and VersaCAD, and is upgradable to Unixbased CAD systems.
The Telestar 386-19CD is priced at Β£9495.

We present an object-oriented 3D graphics and animation framework which provides a new methodology for the symmetric modelling of geometry and behaviour. The toolkit separates the specification of geometry and behaviour by two types of directed acyclic graphs, the geometry graph and the behaviour gr
## Abstract We present a system for interacting with 3D objects in a 3D virtual environment. Using the notion that a typical headβmounted display (HMD) does not cover the user's entire face, we use a fiducial marker placed on the HMD to locate the user's exposed facial skin. Using this information,
