This book presents a well deaigned collection of material from different besic biostatistice courses the author taught at the University of Iowa. It also contains many epecial results he found particularly useful in his work as a statistical consultant. These are mainly very simple but frequently requested methods which are not so easy to find and understand in more mathematically minded b x t s . The author describes each statistical procedure by presenting a short but clear introduction, a worked example and an easy to use application form for routine use.
