โฆ Synopsis
Kirk Anderson likes living alone in his mountain cabin, or so he tells himself. He's a monster, after all. How would he ever find a man who can deal with his other self--the wolf?
When a reckless young hiker named Leo gets his leg caught in an old bear trap, Kirk rescues him, tracking him down by scent alone. While Kirk takes care of his injuries, Leo's bright, sunny presence slowly wears down all Kirk's defences. But as the full moon rises, Kirk struggles between the urge to protect Leo and the demands of the wolf, who wants only one thing: to claim his mate...

From the Inside Flap
Excerpt:
Leo looked down at his leg too, then away, swallowing. "That looks awful." Kirk nodded. "Would've looked worse if you'd lost the leg."
Leo shook his head. "Anyone ever tell you that your bedside manner is...a little disconcerting?"
"That's why I'm not a doctor," Kirk said, dry as dust.
Leo laughed at that, and Kirk felt an unaccustomed warmth settle beneath his breastbone. It wasn't often that he could make people laugh.
He unrolled some fresh bandages and wrapped Leo's leg again, trying to be gentle. Leo bit his lip, and Kirk knew it had to be hurting him now that the painkillers were wearing off, but he didn't make a sound.
"Doc'll be here in a couple hours," Kirk said. "Get some sleep."
He put a strip of painkillers and a glass of water on Leo's bedside table. "If things get bad, take one of these. Two at most."
Leo nodded. "Thanks."
Then, just as Kirk turned to leave, Leo said softly, "What's your name?"
Kirk paused and looked back over his shoulder. "Kirk Anderson."
"Thanks, Kirk," Leo said. He was smiling a little, his rosy mouth curving in a way that Kirk tried not to notice.
Kirk closed the door behind him, and then paused to knock his head into the wooden cabin wall with a gentle thump.
He was in so much trouble.
