✦ Synopsis

Safire Jewel, baby half-sister of Tarana Jewel has just learned she has a sister. Raised by their mutual father, whom Tarana never met, Safire was abandoned at a farm he worked at for a while in her early teens and eventually ended up on the street, tossed out of the foster system at eighteen. After two years of barely getting by, she gets an opportunity for a job with the help of Zelda, the Shifter Whisperer. Tarana and Giff are living in his newly expanded penthouse and the manager's unit is ready for its new occupant.

Unfortunately, Giff has also accepted a request to hire a relative, and when the Prince of Darkness requests it's never something you can say no to. Not easily. Earhart is an entitled spoiled demon with attitude. And actually only a half demon/half polar bear shifter, and keeping his job is keeping him out of Hell. Not that he doesn't like Safire but, like her, the job is critical to his survival.

Oh and his bear says she's his mate.
