## Abstract The pineal window of adult Atlantic salmon (__Salmo salar__) (fork length 45โ55 cm) is highly transparent, apart from a roofโlike (mean angle 120ยฐ ยฑ 5ยฐ), bony structure formed by the pineal plates.
