โฆ Synopsis
We are just starting to deploy Windows 7 throughout our organization. We have a lot of savvy users but we also have those users who need a little training. One thing we don't do here is basic training. It's 2010. My opinion is that people should be able to figure out basic computer stuff on their own. What they need is guidance. That's what Windows 7 Quick Steps provides. I ordered a bunch of these books to pass out as our users make the transition from Vista. The book is perfect for all levels of users. It delivers on its "Quick Steps" format. Most experienced users can quickly find what they need by simply looking at the illustrations. Not so experienced users can read the very concise text. It is relatively free of daunting technical information, which most of my users are not interested in learning about. This book makes it easy for them to get just the information they need. If more complex issues arise, I usually want a support person to handle it anyway. This book really reduces our support calls.
