The proceedings of the International Working Conference on ''Progregs in Biological Function Analysis by ComputerTechnologies" are published in this book.The conference was held in Berlin on May 19-23, 1987, organized by the International Medical Informatics Aesociation
(IMIA) in cooperation with the Society of Biomedical Engineering and Information Processes and the Humboldt Univemity Berlin.
