What can you give a girl who has everything? Done with living the secluded yet luxurious life her mother provided for her, 18 year old Larry "Lala" Winters decides to move back to her childhood home of Chicago with her Grandma to start her life over and experience a new strip club scene, all while getting her high school diploma.
Upon her arrival to the new city, she prepares to make a fresh start. Unfortunately, her relationship with her long time, old ass boyfriend Sincere end's, leaving her to start fresh but with a broken heart.
Without friends, old or new, Lala is determined not to allow a man to change her stride back home in the city. She begins spending more time with herself, at school, at work, or with her Cousin Pee Wee and his crowd.
While hanging with them, she ends up liking one of her cousin's closest friends who also happens to be her childhood best friend, Lil Will, and in return he ends up liking her too.
Deeply infatuated, Lil Will and Lala go against all odds to be together- Lil Will permanently ends his own long time on-again, off-again relationship. Lala goes against her family's wishes as everyone tries to convince her he's no good for her, nothing but a savage.
In time, Lil Will's actions will reveal he really isn't good for her, but Lala's love for him won't allow her to be bothered enough to leave him.
The question is- in the end will that be the best thing for Lala to do, or will she wish she'd listened to her family and left Lil Will's savage ass alone?
