This is the first comprehensive book on the dynamical diffraction of x-rays since the development of synchrotron radiation. There is an introduction to the subject presenting early developments and the basic results, followed by a detailed development of the diffraction and propagation properties of

In this article we provide a comparison of classical dynamical x-ray diffraction theory with the dynamical theory for the wide-angle case. It is shown that it is possible for the true value of the angular variable to be introduced without application of the dispersion theory. Wide-angle x-ray diffraction theory is in an excellent agreement with Zaus correction of the angular parameter.β¦ Subjects

X-ray and neutron dynamical diffraction
This textbook describes in detail the classical theory of dynamics, a subject fundamental to the physical sciences, which has a large number of important applications. The author's aim is to describe the essential content of the theory, the general way in which it is used, and the basic concepts tha
