โœฆ Synopsis

Murder, robbery, lies, and burying the bodiesโ€” itโ€™s all in a dayโ€™s work for Anthony. Where the Bad Ones Gois ahard-hittingstory of gut-wrenching crime, heartbreaking consequences, and the bumpy road to redemption.
Eighteen-year-old Anthony Golino expects a purpose when he returns to New York City in 1945. But thereโ€™s no heroโ€™s welcome for former soldiers like him, and very few opportunities around. The only job he can find is driving a taxi along the sleazy city streets. He and his single mother are barely scraping by. But across the street at the Diamond Ace Social Club, itโ€™s a much different story. Feared neighborhood gangsters stack money high and lead glamorous lives. Anthonyโ€™s determined to get a piece of the bittersweet pie at all costs.
At the Diamond Ace, he meets the charismatic and highly-respected underboss of the Vieri crime family, John Sullivanโ€”or Johnny Boy. Soon, Johnny Boy promises Anthony the world in exchange for spilt blood. The two quickly develop a father and son-like relationship. Still, Anthony will have to prove himself worthy of the underbossโ€™ trust by any deadly means.
But after unthinkable tragedy strikes, the old rules no longer apply and life as a mobster spins out of control. Separating friends from his foes becomes a demanding challenge. A future with the love of his life, Nancy, is put at risk. As he grows into an adult, the glamorous perks become less than the tragic downsides. Anthony canโ€™t help questioning the dark and bloody shortcut heโ€™s taken to the American dream...M.F
