The 30th year of MRC was a year of great successes and gave us many reasons to celebrate. There was of course the anniversary, but also an all-time high in Impact Factor, an alltime high in submissions, four excellent special issues, the publication of many excellent and well-received review type articles and shorter turnaround times than ever before.
