global market is assessed as being worth SFR 2.3 bn or $1.4 bn. About 75% of the sales revenue generated by Clariant's Pigments & Additives division (SFR 1.872 bn or $1.1 bn in full-year 2001) is accounted for by organic pigments and the division has 16 production facilities around the world. Of Clariant's organic pigment sales to the paint sector, 45% is accounted for by the industrial paints sector, 35% by the architectural paints sector and 20% by the automotive paints sector.
