About the Author
Portia Da Costa is a multi-published British author of romance, erotic romance and erotic fiction. Her novels have been published by many different houses, both US and UK, and translated into German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian and Japanese. Best known for her writing for pioneering British erotica publisher Black Lace, her work has been praised for its powerful sensuality and vivid emotional characterization. She enjoys writing books with contemporary, paranormal and occasionally futuristic settings, but her new great love is historical erotic romance, set in the late Victorian era, which she has long found fascinating. Her favorite erotic sub-genres are sensual punishment, power exchange and edgy, boundary skirting pleasure games.
Since the demise of Black Lace, Portia has found several new writing outlets.
