I loved the fact that the story never tried to cover more than what its length could handle. Typically, I’m left with the feeling that a novella should have gone longer, or felt rushed in parts by book end, but here this was not the case. The main characters were engaging and funny, in the quirky way I prefer, and the plot, while straight forward, was nicely handled and interesting. The love scenes were both sensual and bold, which is just the right mix, and both Lyla and Michael had a spot-on ‘voice’...
