A photo-inhibition effect was found for the uncatalyzed chemical oscillators, phenol-BrO, -HzS04 and aniline-Bloc -H?SO+ The wavelength dependence of theeffxiency of inhibition was determinedand found to be in good correlation with the absorption spectrum. A tentative mechanism for the inhibition is proposed.
