## Abstract We propose and demonstrate simultaneously inverted and noninverted wavelength conversion of picosecond pulses in periodically poled LiNbO~3~ waveguides. By only use of sum‐frequency generation, inverted wavelength conversion from the signal wavelength to pump wavelength both within the
