A chronic medical condition, such as cancer, can complicate the normal transition from childhood to adolescence; a developmental period that already presents unique personal, social, and academic challenges to adolescents and their caregivers. 1 To further explore the experiences of adolescents diagnosed with cancer, and ways of best supporting them, a panel comprised of 2 healthcare professionals (KD and WF) and 2 adolescents (KV and AV) considered the following 4 questions:
