✦ Synopsis
A bst ract
The density ( ~ ), viscosity ( ~ ) and ultrasonic velocity (U) have been measured for the binary mlxtures of dimethyl sulfoxide with methanol, ethanol, propan-l-ol and butan-l-ol over the entire range of mole fractions at a constant temperature of 308.15 K. Excess molar volume (~), deviation in viscosity (/k~) and deviation in isentroplc compressibility ( /~Ks) are calculated and related to intermolecular interactions.
