## Abstract Direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method has been widely used to study gaseous flow and heat transfer in micro‐fluidic devices. For flows associated with microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), the heat‐flux‐specified (HFS) boundary condition broadly exists. However, problems with HFS
