The International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer seeks to provide a central vehicle for exchange of basic ideas in heat and/or mass transfer between research workers and engineers located throughout the world. Only those papers that convey original unpublished research of permanent interest-analytical, numerical and/or experimental--and featuring explicitly heat and/or mass transfer, will be accepted for publication. In all cases, the highest priority will be given to those contributions which increase our basic understanding of transfer processes and of their application to engineering problems.
