✦ Synopsis
The voltmmetric determination of chemical forms of tin was investigated. Attention was focused on inorganic Sn(II) and Sn(IV), and on the organometallic species dibutyltin dichloride and tributyltin chloride. The effects of supporting electrolyte, the waveform and the scan parameters upon the analytical signal were studied. Conditions for the simultaneous or sequential determination of the four species, when feasible, were identified.

## Abstract The electrochemical reduction behavior of mefloquine HCl (MEF), the antimalarial drug, was studied in aqueous alcoholic media at a hanging mercury drop electrode. Cyclic voltammetric studies showed one well‐defined reduction peak and one ill‐defined reduction wave between pH 1.5 and 12.
