Visual vertigo syndrome is a new clinical condition in which certain individuals are highly susceptible to large-field motion stimulation, thereby resulting in marked vertigo. Such a case is described in which the necessary conditions could be simulated, and the diagnosis made, using only a standard optokinetic drum in the clinic environment.
