We have studied the decay dynamics of visible photoluminescence (PL) from nanometer-sized \(\mathrm{Si}\) crystallites fabricated by electrochemical etching of single crystalline \(\mathrm{Si}\) and laser-breakdown of \(\mathrm{SiH}_{4}\) gas. In two types of \(\mathrm{Si}\) crystallites, the slow d
