In this paper, we present results on time visible emission from Er 3+ -doped amorphous SiN thin ΓΏlms as a function of temperature. It is shown that the measured lifetime of the green emission decreases as the temperature increases and the e ect is mainly attributed to thermalization of the 2 H 11=2
