โœฆ Synopsis

This paper deals with vibrations of skew plates carrying a concentrated mass. To analyze these problems, the spline element technique is used. The effects of the ratio of the concentrated mass to the plate mass, the position of the concentrated mass, and the skew angle on the vibrational characteristics of an isotropic skew plate is discussed.
