β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
Raman spectra of an NaBF~4~ crystal were recorded and analysed. All the group theoretically expected bands were observed and assigned unambiguously. The rotational modes could be correlated with the principal moments of inertia of the BF~4~ ^β^ ion.

The infrared and Raman spectra of were recorded and interpreted with the aid of a site symmetry Pb 4 (PO 4 ) 2 SO 4 analysis. Some comparisons with related species are made.

## Abstract The normal Raman spectrum (NRS), Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FTIRS) and surfaceβenhanced Raman spectrum (SERS) of the important insecticide and acaricide fluvalinate (C~26~H~22~ClF~3~N~2~O~3~) were recorded for the first time. The spectral data are discussed in terms of charact
